Younis offers his '10000-run milestone bat' for auction
KARACHI: Pakistan's cricket legend Younis Khan has offered his bat, through which he completed his 10, 000 runs in Test cricket, for auction.
While talking with media here on Wednesday, the world-class batsman appealed to the Government not to deduct any tax from the amount to be collected through this auction as he wanted to donate it to the Edhi Foundation and some other welfare institutions.
He said that there is a need to do more for the betterment of cricket in the country.
"However, nor the cricket board changes and neither my thinking", he added.
Younis said: " we have very good plans and we will work also for other projects along with sports".
Answering to a question, he said that he is not going to join any political party. "The whole Pakistan is my party", he added.
